On September 29th, 2015, the Central Station Marketing team, in partnership with all of the Dalworth companies, spent the evening touring the amazing facility at Six Stones to discover its worthwhile and highly successful program for getting food to those in need. We were led on a wonderful tour and talk on the many ways in which Six Stones serves the community.
We learned some great things about this highly important group:
Families in Hurst, Euless or Bedford can find hope and get help with food and clothing. 6 Stones’ New Hope Center’s mission provides emergency assistance of food, clothing and other resources to families in need. On average, 6 Stones serves around 300 individuals each week.
Community Powered Revitalization is a joint effort between 6 Stones, the cities of Hurst, Euless, Bedford, Watauga, Cleburne, Richland Hills, various businesses, nonprofit organizations and churches to help homeowners who are struggling to make necessary home repairs. Mobilizing community volunteers, we aim to strengthen, grow and revitalize our community one home and one family at a time.
Great Ways to Help
1) Hold a Food Drive
- Promote
- Collect non-perishable foods
- Deliver items to 6 Stones New Hope Center
- Allowing for at least 3 meetings for a food drive works
2) 6 Stones has several sponsorship opportunities available. Please contact us at info@6stones.org or (682) 970-2038 for more info.
3) In-kind donations offer businesses the opportunity to give excess merchandise, materials or services while receiving the full tax benefits of a cash donation. This can be an effective and creative way of supporting 6 Stones. Please call us at (682) 970-2038 if we can help.
